About
My wife and I have (surprise!) 20 cats. At one point we had 23. When we married she had 7. Out of those original 7, 3 are still around.
When we ask someone how many cats they have, they usually say something like “We have a lot. We have 4 (or 5 or 6 or something like that).
Uh, yeah….
We’re what could be called responsible cat owners. When one shows up here and it looks like they’re going to grace us with their presence, it’s into a pet taxi and off to the vet for spay/neuter, shots, blood work and maybe a microchip. Everybody has yearly checkups and shots. And, yes, it gets expensive.
All outside cats have their own insulated small dog house with a heating pad in the winter.
If you’re going to have pets treat ‘em right.
No, we don’t live on a farm. Just in a cul-de-sac in a small city in Northern Utah. We do regular volunteer work for No More Homeless Pets in Utah (www.utahpets.org)
